“She wants to focus full-time on her business, Yummie, her family, and expanding into the health and nutrition arena,” the source revealed to Us Weekly.
“The cons of doing the show far outweigh the pros at this point, and what the show has become don’t fit what she wants to be doing,” the source added. “She did it to promote her business and it devolved into ridiculous fights over the ridiculous antics of some unstable women.”
In the current season of The Real Housewives of New York City, most of Heather’s storyline revolve around her feud with fellow housewives Bethenny Frankel and Dorinda Medley. “She did the show to promote her business and later to be with her best friend, Carole Radziwill, and didn’t expect it to end up with fighting with Bethenny and Sonja [Morgan] and the rest edited out,” the source said. “It is no longer a good fit with where she sees her life going so she is making the choice to walk away.”

In Tuesday night’s episode, Thomson came to blows with LuAnn de Lesseps after she discovered a naked man in their room during the ladies’ trip to Turks and Caicos.
“Luann made this whole stink about being uncool…because she was worried I was going to open the door and catch her with somebody,” Thomson told New York Live.
In another interview with People Now, Thomson points out the change in de Lesseps.
“I don’t even recognize LuAnn this season, to be honest with you,” she explained. “LuAnn is always painting someone else to be the villain because LuAnn takes no responsibility for her own behavior or her own actions.”
Asked if she’s ready to say goodbye to The Real Housewives of New York City, Thomson remained coy about her future on the show. “We have so much to talk about on what’s happening on the show right now … I mean, who can even think about next season, let’s stick to this season” she said.
