Heroes returns in less than two weeks with what promises to be one of it’s most revealing episodes to date. When we last saw our Heroes, Peter was pinned to the wall by Sylar, Nathan was debating apocalypse with Linderman, Claire was meeting her grandmother for the first time, H.R.G was deep within the bowels of ‘The Company’, and the rest were all slowly traveling onto threads that will very soon bring all the Heroes together for a fateful encounter. After “helping” Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) search for more people with special abilities, Sylar’s (guest star Zachary Quinto) rampage continues with two “heroes” being confronted by the stronger-powered serial killer. Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) must factor what he’s learned from Linderman (guest star Malcolm McDowell) into difficult decisions that will shape the future — for him, his family, New York City and the world. As Thompson (guest star Eric Roberts) uses every tool at his disposal to find Claire (Hayden Panettiere), Linderman drafts Jessica (Ali Larter) into his far-reaching plans. Meanwhile, Hiro’s (Golden Globe nominee Masi Oka) resolve to “save the world” strengthens in the face of a grim reality.
We are hearing a rumor from out west that the situation with Sylar, Mohinder, and Peter will be resolved when a hero we have not seen for a while will appear to shift the balance of the fight back into Peter’s favor. Does this mean the end of Sylar? Nah! Expect to see Zach Quinto portraying the power vampire right up until the finale, and perhaps beyond!
Speaking of which, is there any confirmation as to whether or not Sylar will live to see another season? Another source is saying that there is a very good chance indeed that Sylar will make it to season two for more menacing.
