At the Evolution of Relationship Reality Shows panel at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, Harrison finally revealed why he’ll never be The Bachelor to end all speculations.
“The Bachelor has been my baby for 13 years, and I love hosting it. I’m a student of the game. You really have to give yourself up to the producers and this ride, and there’s no way in hell I could do that. Not only do I know how the sausage is made, but I have [helped] make it,” he said at the panel, where he also served as the host.
Harrison also spilled that The Bachelor is easier to produce than The Bachelorette. “That’s easier. That’s the baby. The Bachelorette is a much tougher show to do,” he said, adding that the men on The Bachelorette often struggle with romance and emotions so it takes more effort to make interesting television.
