Even though Eva LaRue has been in the entertainment industry for more than 15 years now, she remains to be one of the most refreshing faces on the television circuit. This former beauty queen exudes grace and sophistication in whatever endeavor she partakes. Her ability to keep her head up high despite personal and professional stress, not to mention her devotion to her daughter, serves as an inspiration to her fans. At present, she stars on the popular series CSI: Miami.
Born on December 27, 1966 in Long Beach, California, Eva LaRue studied at Norco Senior High School. Her natural flair for entertainment got her exposed to commercials at the early age of six. She was crowned Miss California Empire prior to her professional pursuit of the world of show business. As an actress, she appeared on the soap opera All My Children as Dr. Maria Santos Grey for a total of seven years. Her performance on the said program earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series” and “Outstanding Original Song” for composing a song, which was used as her character’s theme song in 2004. Her other acting credits included Remembrance, Candid Camera, The World’s Funniest Videos, RoboCop 3 and A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes: The Annette Funicello Story.
LaRue plays Natalia Boa Vista on the television series CSI: Miami. She depicts a CSI trainee who focuses on DNA analysis. Although she was a victim of abuse, she remains to be lighthearted and optimistic. Her playful love affairs simply give the show zest and spice. Youthful and bursting with charisma, she is one of the reasons why the show continues to be a blast.
