Casey James and Lauren Alaina on Tour
If you’re looking to attend a country music concert this fall, then you’re in luck because both Casey James and Lauren Alaina are each heading out on their own tours in the coming months.
The Taste of Country Christmas Tour with headliner Casey James, as well as JB and the Moonshine Band, will make 11 stops in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas beginning November 15 and ending December 15. If you live in Texas, you’re particularly in luck as seven of the stops are in the Lone Star State.
Lauren Alaina, on the other hand, just started her 18 City Inch-by-Inch Tour last week in Pennsylvania and New York. Next up is Virginia on Saturday night, with the tour ending November 12, again in Pennsylvania. This tour is particular significant because a portion of the proceeds from the tour T-shirt will go to charity. From the press release: “Lauren is teaming up with local charities and the Special Olympics to donate a portion of each sale of her limited edition 18-City Inch-By-Inch Tour t-shirt. … Fans who cannot make it to one of these shows can still do their part and purchase the limited edition t-shirt from Lauren’s website here.”
Daughtry’s “Start of Something Good” Music Video
Daughtry has released a new music video for their current single, “Start of Something Good.” Lead singer and Idol alum Chris Daughtry tells Extra that this song “is basically the story of when I met my wife. It was one of those times where you’re starting to believe it’s the start of something good, and 12 years later, it proved to be right.” He continues on by saying, “The concept behind the video is basically I’m observing this young couple who’s obviously in love and I’m playing their theme song.”
Colton Dixon’s “Never Gone” Lyric Video
Colton Dixon first premiered his debut single, “Never Gone,” during his set on the American Idol Live! 2012 Tour. And on the day of its official release (this past Tuesday), it shot to #1 on the iTunes Christian & Gospel chart, and is still on top three days later. While an official music video hasn’t been released yet, Colton has put out a lyric video, which you can view below:
