It seems that reviving old cast members is becoming a trend these days in the Real Housewives franchise. Former original star of The Real Housewives of New York City Bethenny Frankel is already set to return for season 7 while her former co-star and rival Kelly Bensimon is now rumored to appear in the upcoming season as well. The latest housewives resurrection, however, comes in the form of Jeana Keough.

According to Radar Online, Jeana is negotiating her return to The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“Bravo has reached out to Jeana,” the insider revealed. “They have asked her what is going on in her life with the hopes of understanding what a potential storyline for her could be. [She] has had lots of changes going on in her life. Her daughter recently got married, her oldest son is dating someone new, and she has two exchange students that live with her and keep her busy!”
Jeana was one of the original cast members of The Real Housewives of Orange County, where she served as a series regular from season 1 to 5. She made occasional appearances as a “friend” of the housewives in season 6 and as a guest star in season 7. One of her most memorable moments on the series involved Tamra Judge throwing a drink in her face after a feud involving Judge’s ex-husband. Following her exit, she appeared on Bravo’s Thintervention With Jackie Warner. At present, she’s still living in Orange County and is working in real estate.

“Jeana looks better than ever, which would only add to her confidence on the show,” the insider said. “Since the show was initially built around Jeana, it wouldn’t make sense for her to be a part-time cast member. Hopefully they would want to honor her legacy in the franchise and give her a full-time position.”
