With the immense fan support he’s been getting, Jesse Csincsak has thought of giving something back. The horrendous news regarding his split with The Bachelorette‘s DeAnna Pappas has still been getting plenty of attention, but Jesse knows things have to go on. One of the steps he’s actually willing to take is looking for love on ABC’s The Bachelor.
“If they offered it to me and I had the opportunity to fall in love again, I think I’d definitely consider it,” the professional snowboarder exclaimed. Though the network hasn’t expressed any plans of pulling in Csincsak for another season of the show, they’ll surely find that he’s willing to make it work. Of course, his fans aren’t rejecting the idea immediately and their encouragement might just be what he needs to be on the show.
However, the recent heartache he’s experienced has made him doubt the whole idea quite a bit. “You have ABC hand-picking 25 amazing people after telling [producers] what you want. Worse case scenario, you go through the show and you meet no one,” Csincsak said.
“Originally, I thought it was the dumbest idea on the planet. “Go on TV and fall in love?”” That was his point of view before he got to know DeAnna Pappas on The Bachelorette. “The fact that I actually did fall in love proves that you can fall in love on those shows,” he continued. Csincsak was skeptical before, and perhaps it would’ve done him better if he stayed that way. After a few months of bliss with DeAnna, things just didn’t follow through.
But even though his wedding was called off, he has been keeping in touch with his former fiancée, while still keeping his distance. “We’re doing a little bit of text messaging here and there. Mostly, we’re giving each other some much needed space. I think we will definitely be friends [someday]. I love her very much and I hope she’s happy.”
As for Jesse, he’s having fun focusing on snowboarding at the meantime. But he might not stay on the slopes for long, as he’s been getting e-mail upon e-mail from women around the globe. He could just be on his way to becoming the next Bachelor for ABC, though he’s not in any hurry. “There are definitely a few ladies who have contacted me, but I’m taking things one day at a time.”
