We all know that the Kardashians have a thing for publicity, and that they can hardly live without it. However, will they even go so far as to stage a burglary in their own home just to be noticed by the press? TMZ reports that what happened to Kourtney Kardashian’s house a few days ago might have been carried out by someone who knew the family well, or at least, the place they were living in.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star reportedly lost several pieces of jewelry, along with a Rolex watch belonging to boyfriend Scott Disick. The publication reports that the perpetrator seemed to know exactly what to steal and where they could find it. These clues point to the speculation that all this was an inside job.
Sources reveal that Disick’s grandmother died recently, leaving him with a whole bunch of expensive jewelry. Of course, he gave the pieces to the mother of his child, Kourtney Kardashian. While she had a lot of baubles lying around already, they were given to her by her late father, Robert Kardashian.
The robbery took place at night, and whoever did it knew that Kourtney and Scott were out eating dinner between 7pm and 8:30pm. The suspect managed to enter their home, which is located in a gated community, between those hours.
Whoever raided the home of these reality TV celebrities had to be sure where the items were found, given the small amount of time they had to accomplish the crime. Still, there have been other celebrities who fell victim to the same fate and none of them have claimed inside jobs.
As of now, however, the police are continuing their investigation of the Kardashian case. They still haven’t pinpointed any suspects and haven’t commented on any recent developments regarding the robbery.
Whatever happens, we maintain that it’s very unlikely for either Kourtney or Scott to steal their own loot for press time. That’s just absurd, even for the Kardashians.
