Kim Kardashian may be making her way into yet another reality show in the near future. This time, the star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will reportedly appear on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
Word on the street is that the 27-year-old reality starlet has been talking with the producers over at Dancing with the Stars, consequently making her the latest celebrity to join the cast of the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated program that pairs celebrities with professional ballroom dancers for its seventh season, which is set to air this fall.
According to the New York Daily News, speculations began circulating as Helio Castroneves, Brazilian race car driver and fifth season winner of Dancing with the Stars, was overheard backstage at the ESPY Awards telling people how Kim Kardashian will be one of the new contestants on the ABC reality show next season.
Although Castroneves may have spilled the beans, there is no confirmation yet coming from the network, as well as from the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, who remains tightlipped about the casting news. Moreover, fans will have to wait for the official Dancing with the Stars season 7 lineup, which won’t be revealed until mid-August.
Meanwhile, fans can still catch Kim Kardashian on her reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, just in case she doesn’t end up flaunting her dance moves on the ABC show. As reported previously, the E! series has been picked up for a third season, which is expected to start airing anytime in the first quarter of 2009.
Created by American Idol‘s Ryan Seacrest, Keeping Up with the Kardashians follows the daily lives of the Kardashian/Jenner family. The show premiered on E! on October 14, 2007, and has since been the highest-rated series on Sunday nights among women 18 to 34.
