It seems that Bethenny Frankel isn’t the only one making a comeback on The Real Housewives of New York City for season 7. Rumor has it that her ex-costar Kelly Bensimon is also in talks to appear in the upcoming season.

“Producers want to bring Kelly back so she and Bethenny can come face-to-face with each other,” an insider tells Life & Style. “They want a dramatic confrontation over Kelly getting close last year with Bethenny’s ex Jason Hoppy and her daughter Bryn.”
According to the insider, a Bethenny-Kelly face-off “would definitely spice things up” for season 7. The two women famously clashed during the second and third season of The Real Housewives of New York City and have since added fuel to their on-going feud off camera.

Bethenny left the Bravo reality series at the end of season 3 while Kelly was fired after the fourth season. In 2013, Kelly was spotted in a NYC park with Bethenny’s estranged husband, Jason Hoppy, and Bethenny lashed at Kelly on Andy Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live. Kelly, in turn, lashed back at Bethenny.
“She will not shut up about a TV show that was not even real. I have never said anything about her,” Kelly told In Touch magazine back then. “We don’t want to hear what she thinks about a fabricated television show that I was actually a part of. It’s four years ago… she needs to move on!”
