The Bravermans live on! NBC has renewed the critically acclaimed but ratings-challenged family drama Parenthood for a 15-episode fourth season.
In addition, 30 Rock becomes the first NBC comedy to get an official renewal, though it will be for a 13-episode seventh and final season.
These shows join Law and Order: SVU, Smash and Grimm on the list of NBC’s returning scripted series so far.
In addition, NBC has picked up two more new dramas. First is Do Not Harm, a Jekyll and Hyde-style series that follows a neurosurgeon (Rescue Me‘s Steven Pasuqale) battling against his evil alter ego.
The second new drama is Infamous (formerly titled Notorious), a Revenge-like soap where a detective goes undercover to investigate the death of an heiress. The twist is that the detective used to live their as the daughter of one of the maids. The show stars Meagan Good (Calfironication), Tate Donovan (The O.C., Damages), Victor Garber (Alias) and Neil Jackson (Make It or Break It).

These shows join NBC’s previously picked up new shows Revolution, Chicago Fire and the Silence of the Lambs prequel Hannibal. Along with six new comedies, this brings NBC’s total crop of new scripted shows for the 2012-2013 TV season to 11.
NBC will reveal its official plans for next season on Monday.
