Scary and sad news for NCIS fans broke Friday morning. On her twitter, Pauley Perrette who plays fan favorite Abby, opened up about being attacked late Thursday night. Perrette is fine, just very shaken, but the news is starling nonetheless. The attack, which the NCIS star details here, happened when the actress was walking alone in Hollywood.
Perrette was attacked by a homeless man who was very disturbed. He expressed a desire to kill Perrette multiple times and beat her until the actress laid down on the street collapsed from shock. She eventually got the help of two of her friends. Together they were able to apprehend the man. He was charged with felony assault.

Pauley Perrette is clearly very disturbed by the incident. She says her “life changed” and admits she almost died. Nevertheless she has provided some very encouraging and understanding sentiments. She said that homeless, who she has charitably supported for a long time, need full mental health support and housing. She has preached support for police officers.
Some really powerful and important stuff. If Pauley Perrette didn’t have your affection before now, she certainly should have it after all this incident and the wonderful way she is handling it.
