Aside from playing Abigail “Abby” Sciuto on NCIS, Pauley Perrette has other things that keep her preoccupied these days. The 38-year-old actress is also working on the latest feature film from writer and director James Felix McKenney and MonsterPants movies entitled Satan Hates You.
Inspired by movies such as the 1972 film A Thief in the Night, the drama If Footmen Tire You, What Will the Horses Do? and Stalked, Satan Hates You boasts a large ensemble cast besides the NCIS star. Also included in the horror flick are Don Wood (Automatons), Christine Spencer (Absolute Trust), Angus Scrimm (Alias, Satanic), Larry Fessenden (Trigger Man, The Brave One), Jennifer Boutell (The Pod), Christina Campanella (The Off Season), John Levene (Automatons, Doctor Who), and DW Ferranti (Next Stop Wonderland, CanniBallistic!).
In Satan Hates You, Perrette will be taking on project very different from her forensic specialist role on NCIS. She’ll be playing Marie Flowers in graphic horror plot that tells the stories of two individuals and their struggles with Lucifer himself.
Previously, Perrette starred on the television series Time of Your Life, where she played
Cecilia Wiznarski from 1999 to 2001, and on Special Unit 2 in which she portrayed Alice Cramer for several episodes. On the silver screen, she was cast in Potheads: The Movie, A Moment of Grace and Cut and Run.
The movie has been in the process of being shot bit-by-bit since 2005 and is presently filming in full-time. Satan Hates You is expected to hit the theaters on December 31, 2008.
Meanwhile, fans can catch Pauley Perrette and the rest of the team, including Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs), David McCallum (Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard), Michael Weatherly (Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo) , and Lauren Holly (Jenny Shepard), among others, on NCIS every Tuesday at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.
