Miguel Ferrer, co-star of NCIS: Los Angeles and Crossing Jordan, has died at age 61 from a battle with cancer. He was an instantly-recognizable character with a career spanning 35 years.
Ferrer is currently one of the co-stars of NCIS: Los Angeles. He joined the show in season 3 and was promoted to a series regular in season 5, playing NCIS Assistant Director Owen Granger.
He also had a role on the original run of Twin Peaks as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield, assisting Dale Cooper in the investigation of Laura Palmer. Ferrer will appear in Showtime’s upcoming revival of the series to reprise his character.
On the most recent episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, Ferrer’s character was stabbed and in the hospital. His character has been sick this season and there was news that one character will be killed off this season.
