In last week’s NCIS, the team looked into a trained survivalist with a cold case murder that led them into the wilderness where they discovered a shocking truth about his past. This week, however, the team pays a heavy price when they engage in a violent chase for a marine. The hunt begins tonight in the episode “Corporal Punishment.”
Read on to find out what’s in store for tonight’s episode of NCIS.
In the 10th episode of the season, the team gets involved in a case after a marine, who escapes from a hospital after returning from Iraq, kidnaps a psychologist. While attempting to track down a delusional and violent corporal who thinks he’s still in Iraq, the NCIS team discovers the man has been the subject of a secret experiment and is led to believe that the man is being groomed to become a super soldier.
Spearheading the investigation is a group of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps, which includes Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard (David McCallum), Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), and Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly).
Directed by Arvin Brown and written by Jesse Stern, “Corporal Punishment” also features Paul Telfer, Amy Carlson and Patrick Fabian as guests. Telfer, who plays Marine Corporal Damon Worth on NCIS, is popularly known for his exposure on Hercules, Spartacus, and Hotel Babylon where he portrayed Luke Marwood, while Carlson, who has been cast to portray Karen Sutherland, is noted for being part of Third Watch, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and Peacemakers. As for Fabian, who plays Ray Vincent on the series, his most recent exposure includes Close to Home and Pushing Daisies prior to his stint on Veronica Mars as Professor Hank Landry.
Fans can catch NCIS tonight at 8pm ET/PT, followed by The Unit at 9pm on CBS.
