NCIS fans might be in for a wild and emotional end of season 14. CBS has released descriptions for the last two episodes of the season and things don’t sound great for Delilah and McGee. Though the penultimate episode of season 14 is being promised as a “special wedding episode,” it sounds as if Delilah and McGee’s nuptials won’t go off without a hitch, if they happen at all.
NCIS Recap: What Secret is Torres Hiding from the Team?>>>Delilah and McGee are set to get married in episode 23 of NCIS season 14. The episode is titled “Something Blue” and will air Tuesday, May 8 at 9/7c on CBS. The official episode description reads, “The stress of McGee (Sean Murray) and Delilah’s (Margo Harshman) imminent wedding takes its toll as Delilah is rushed to the hospital. Also, the NCIS travels out to sea after a young, healthy Petty Officer aboard a Navy destroyer dies in his sleep.”
NCIS fans worried for Delilah’s safety won’t find any relief in the official tease for of the following episode, the season finale. The season 14 finale, titled “Rendezvous,” which will air on Tuesday, May 16 at 8/7c on CBS makes no mention of Delilah in the description. Instead it reads, “Gibbs (Mark Harmon), McGee (Sean Murray) and Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) travel to a remote area in Paraguay, controlled by a group of violent rebels, in an attempt to locate a missing Navy SEAL who disappeared during an unsanctioned trip.”
5 Times Abby Proved to Be the Heart of NCIS>>>
No new is probably good news in this case however. Delilah might not be mentioned but it’s hard to imagine that McGee would take a long trip to Paraguay if Delilah was having serious medical problems or had even died in “Something Blue.” The reason for Delilah’s hospitalization is probably very minor as far as hospitalizations go on NCIS.
NCIS season 13 certainly set up a big dramatic act to follow in its finale with Tony being written off the show and Ziva being killed off-screen. It’s unlikely that NCIS will go quite as big for season 14 final bow and things should be much simpler and happier.
But what do you think? Do these episode descriptions make you worried for Delilah and McGee? Do you think Delilah could be in any real danger? Are you looking forward to the season finale of NCIS?
