NeNe Leakes makes her highly anticipated return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday, marking her first appearance in season 8.

NeNe announced last June that she will not be returning on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, adding that she will be focusing on new projects. Four months later however, it was announced that she would be returning for season 8.
On Sunday’s RHOA episode, NeNe unexpectedly shows up at Cynthia Bailey’s doorstep. Despite their feud last season, Cynthia seems pleased to see her former BFF.
“Yes bitches, I am back!” NeNe declares in the preview. “Pick your faces up off the floor, she’s back.”
Fans will have to stay tuned to find out what brought NeNe back to RHOA but what’s certain is that she’s sticking around long enough to surprise the other housewives in Jamaica.
Sunday’s episode will also feature the girls heading to Washington, D.C. where Phaedra Parks sees a potential love interest. On the other hand, Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, talk about their new venture to open a restaurant. As for Kenya Moore, she ‘s at odds with her aunt Lori after she discourages Kenya to seek her mother.
“That’s my mother! I have every right to go to her and knock on her door,” Kenya lashes at Lori, who tells her “I don’t think you do.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
