It just keeps getting better and better: more casting news from season 2 of USA’s Suits reveals that familiar faces from Nikita and ER will be coming aboard in some intriguing roles.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nikita recurring guest star Peter Outerbridge, former ER star Scott Grimes, and Army Wives‘ Matthew Glave will all be dropping by during the sophomore run of the top-caliber legal drama.
Outerbridge is set as Keith Hoyt, a friend of Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht)’s who needs his help after getting into some trouble in Atlantic City. You know him best as Gogol boss Ari Tasarov on Nikita, where he flourished as his role was expanded in the second season. Among his lengthy list of credits, he was also the star of the Canadian drama ReGenesis.
Grimes will play Tommy Walsh, whose fondness for high-stakes gambles makes Harvey have to “raise his game.” Though he’s best known as Dr. Archie Morris on ER, Grimes has also lent his voice to Steve Smith on FOX’s American Dad, was one of the stars of HBO’s Band of Brothers, and happens to be a very talented musician as well.
That leaves Glave as Alex Shelton, a new defense attorney that Harvey will oppose. Their appearances are in the sixth episode of season two, “All In,” tentatively scheduled to air on July 26.
The trio join previously announced guests including Eric Close, Rachael Harris, David Costabile and Cold Case alum John Finn.
Suits: Season 1 is now available on DVD via Amazon or any TV on DVD retailer. Season 2 arrives on USA June 14 at 10 PM ET/PT.
