On the season premiere of Nikita, Michael (Shane West) and Nikita (Maggie Q) use the black box to start their planned takedown of Division and Oversight, while Amanda (Melinda Clarke) adjusts to running Division while being watched by an Oversight spy.
Top 5 Moments:
On the run and in love: Nikita fans are thrilled to see their favorite couple closer than ever as they use the black box to right some wrongs. Michael seems to have made this his new mission but Nikita is less certain after everything that happened with Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca).
Percy is all locked up: Amanda is holding Percy (Xander Berkeley) prisoner so she can keep an eye on him. She asks Percy to tell her where Michael and Nikita might be headed because Percy knows the contents of the black box and she does not. Percy refuses to help her and threatens to release the remaining boxes but Amanda calls his bluff. Percy then gives Alex the information she needs while she gets him a television so he can stay in touch with the outside world.
A father’s love: The first mission Michael and Nikita take on involves a man named Tony Merrick who confessed to a crime he did not commit in order to protect his son. Thanks to Michael and Nikita, Tony makes a deal with the FBI to turn over the evidence in exchange for clearing his name and making the world think that he is dead. At the end of the day, Tony is reunited with the son he risked everything for in a happy ending everyone can appreciate.
A Nikita/Alex smackdown: The former allies battle it out after Alex tracks Nikita’s location. During the fight, Alex confesses to no longer being able to trust anyone, giving Nikita yet another reason to feel guilty. The fight is brutal but Nikita comes away the victor and tells her former friend that she should leave Division while she can.
One down: As it turns out, Nikita and Michael’s first mission did not simply free an innocent man, it also took down one of Oversight’s main leaders. The remaining Oversight bigwigs are not impressed but believe they can handle the situation if they work together.
On the next episode of Nikita, Owen (Devon Sawa) returns and a mission pits spy against spy.
