The postcard said:

I got a warning that this might happen. There had been a breach in the Mai’s security system which leaked my address.
The Nine Paths Prophecy referenced on the postcard mentioned: “The Eighth Path reveals a great and dangerous Foe who sets many traps as he hunts his target. Only the Circle of Strangers can follow this deceptive path and uncover the threat.”
I notified the Mai at once, as told to do, and was sent a reply back: “No Danger or Deception shall stop the Circle of Strangers!”
