Chalk one more for the three new characters on the upcoming season of One Tree Hill. After the little hullabaloo surrounding Brian Austin Green’s almost-entry and eventual backing out–and Robert Buckley ultimately taking the role as Nathan’s sports agent Clayton–another one enters the show: sort of newcomer Shantel VanSanten. Well, that’s according to Entertainment Weekly.
She’s set to play Quinn, one of Haley’s older sisters, who arrives at Tree Hill with a broken heart and the desire to move on and find someone new. That’s just one of three new characters the show is introducing as the new season rolls in the fall: apart from her and Clayton, there’s also a new model for Clothes over Bros., which has yet to be cast.
VanSanten’s so new, I couldn’t find anything on her on Wikipedia! Well, she’s actually appeared in a handful of movies, mostly indie releases, although she’s starring in the upcoming The Final Destination (which is a reboot of that film franchise, by the way). Television-wise, she’s had a hand on a couple of television movies, and a guest role in the recent season of CSI: NY.
So, again, that’s Lipstick Jungle‘s Robert Buckley, and Shantel VanSanten, and someone else to play that diva-ish model. Who should that be?
