Things are not looking good for Kim Richards, who is now facing criminal charges stemming from her drunken meltdown at the Beverly Hills Hotel last month. According to TMZ, despite the 50-year-old reality star checking into rehab to clean up her act, the Los Angeles County D.A. is still charging the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star with public intoxication, resisting arrest, and battery on a cop.

Richards was taken into custody by the police at the Beverly Hills Hotel on April 16 for kicking a police officer and public intoxication. The Bravo reality star was described as “belligerent, slurring her speech and reeked of booze.”
She later sat down with Dr. Phil to shed light on her battle with alcoholism and eventually checked into treatment.
The controversial incident eventually sparked rumors that she would be fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills though Radar Online recently revealed that Bravo is satisfied with the way she has complied with their demands and that Richards will most likely keep her place on the reality series. However, that was before criminal charges were filed against her.
Richards could be sentenced to two and a half years in jail.
Unfortunately for Richards, this is not her only legal battle. According to Radar Online, she just lost her $1 million court case from dog bite victim and former family friend, Kay Rozario, who was mauled by Richards’ pit bull, Kingsley, while staying as a guest at her Beverly Hills home last year.
