Despite the fact that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, have four healthy little daughters, they say that something is still missing from their family. And that something is a son.

“Joe really wants a boy,” Teresa told In Touch. “And he said we should get a surrogate to carry it.”
The reason for talk of a surrogate is because Teresa, 40, says she refuses to be pregnant again after giving birth to four children.
“He is really pressuring her,” an inside source told In Touch. “If that’s what he wants, she may just give in.”
The source also indicates that Teresa’s rival relationship with her sister-in-law and co-star Melissa Gorga has also made her eager to have a boy after Melissa had her son, who is now 5. In fact, she underwent in vitro fertilization in 2009 to conceive again. Instead of a son, Teresa gave birth to a fourth daughter, Audriana.
“Teresa’s happy with her family the way it is. She loves her four girls,” the source said.
Considering the rumors surrounding her husband having an affair, maybe adding another child to the mix isn’t the smartest idea. Not to mention Joe’s legal woes. He was indicted in 2012 for obtaining a false birth certificate and driver’s license after his license was suspended in a 2010 DUI. He could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
But then again, Teresa has been campaigning for her own spin-off show, and all of this drama on top of a new baby might help her case. And if there’s anyone willing to sacrifice their family’s well-being for television, it’s probably Teresa Giudice.
