Following her odd and messy behavior in Atlantic City last week on The Real Housewives of New York City, Sonja Morgan admits that she went off the rails and explains the reason behind her drunken behavior.

“It happened, I went off the rails,” Morgan told Us Weekly. “I don’t know what cheap booze I was drinking…but I hadn’t eaten and I think with the bad mood in the group, the way it started off, you really shouldn’t drink when you’re with the wrong people in the wrong mood.”
In the RHONYC episode, Sonja and the rest of the housewives went to Atlantic City to celebrate Ramona Singer’s birthday where Sonja’s costars confronted her about being “delusional” when it comes to her business ventures. Sonja claimed that she has been in PR all her life because she promotes people and then bickered with Bethenny Frankel, who told her she needs to seek help and lay off the booze. Things just got messier as Sonja showed her vagina a couple of times and then tried to make out with LuAnn de Lesseps. She later got in another fight with Bethenny, bragged about partying with JFK Jr. and Madonna while Dorinda Medley was left to deal with Sonja’s drunken meltdown.

“I’ll always be close with Bethenny, LuAnn, and Ramona. But the thing about Bethenny is I think she’s worried about me because of what the girls have told her,” Sonja explained “She hasn’t been around the last four years because she’s been busy raising Bryn and dealing with her marriage. If you listen to what the girls say, it’s all lies — especially what Heather’s saying, total lies! She’s told so many lies in 15 minutes.”
“I don’t have to lie about my castmates or knock their businesses or their hard-partying ways to be relevant and that makes me feel really secure and happy with myself–wherever I go,” Sonja said, adding that her clothing line is doing well.
“It’s going great,” she said of her clothing line. “They’re all on my website… I think you’ll find that when this time comes around next year, you’ll see that the girls were not telling the truth this year.”
