New Jersey Engagement
Lauren Manzo, daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Caroline Manzo, has gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend Vito Scalia. The two have been featured on episodes of RHONJ, and it wouldn’t be surprising if their engagement was documented on Caroline’s new family-centric spin-off, Manzo’d with Children.
“Thank you so much to everyone for the well wishes!” Lauren tweeted. “Vito and I are so happy and I’m still in complete shock.”
Couples Therapy
While former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong just announced her engagement to John Bluher a few months ago, it seems like their relationship is already on the rocks. Either that or she’s just thirsty for a paycheck and some screen time.
Taylor and her fiance will be the next Housewives has-beens (the first having been Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen of RHONYC) to appear on VH1’s Couples Therapy.
“I am so much happier than I have ever been. I never thought I would feel this way,” Taylor told E! News earlier this year. “John and I have an equal respect for one another. We have a real friendship and partnership.”
That Escalated Quickly
On part one of The Real Housewives of Miami reunion this week, Adriana de Moura ignited a spark that lit the fire of a cross-Housewives controversy when she accused Joanna Krupa of breaking up Yolanda Foster’s (of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) marriage. Joanna denied the affair with Yolanda’s then husband and RHOBH guest star Mohamed Hadid, but Brandi Glanville had more to say on the matter when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live the same night the reunion aired.
“Joanna had sex with Mohamed,” Brandi said. “It was one of many affairs. It’s not the exact situation. But Mohamed and Yolanda are great now. It’s just that when Yolanda and I were at a party and Joanna started to walk up to us, we had to go.”

But things didn’t stop there. Joanna struck back, tweeting about Brandi, “No wonder her husband left her.” And of course, Brandi retaliated, repeating something that Mohamed said about Joanna’s personal hygiene. I’ll let you see for yourself (it starts around the two-minute mark):
After even more Twitter jabs were exchanged, Yolanda finally threw her two cents in, attempting to lay this feud to rest.
“Only Mohamed, Joanna and God know the truth of this 12 year old accusation,” she tweeted. “I choose to focus on David now and spare my babies this negativity.”
