Here’s a look at what’s up with your favorite ladies of the OC:
Just Rumors
Rumors have been circulating over the past few weeks that Tamra Judge would be the next star to get her own Bravo spin-off (she had a wedding special last season). But Tamra took to Facebook to set the record straight.
“Let me crush a stupid rumor that won’t go away,” she wrote. “I was NEVER asked to do a spin-off show! A blogger wrote a story stating a few of the OC housewives were getting spin-off shows, but it was a lie! No one has been offered a spin-off! I’m sure a lot of women would love to have their own show and are working on standing out to get their chance. It is a lot of work to hold your own show and you need to have a lot going on in your life.”
However, she did indicate in the comments that she was working on a pitch to Bravo about a series that would revolve around her gym, CUT Fitness.
Andy Cohen confirmed there are no spin-off shows in the works for any of the ladies as of last week.
Wedding Bells When?
Former RHOC star Gretchen Rossi may have planned an elaborate engagement for her fiance, Slade Smiley, last season, but they have still yet to set a date for their wedding.
“We’re talking about maybe fall, but it’s probably going to change a couple more times,” Gretchen told Wetpaint. “That’s what we’re pushing for right now. But we’re also trying to have a baby, so if a baby comes first, you never know. It could totally change.”
The two are currently appearing on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars on WeTV.
Heather’s a Loyal Friend
While on Tuesday night’s episode Tamra Judge may have been trying to make it look like Heather Dubrow betrayed her, Heather maintains that she’s been nothing but a loyal friend to Tamra.
“When I heard this fitness studio was going to be on the show while I was co-hosting, I was worried,” Heather wrote on her Bravo blog. “I didn’t want to be disloyal to Tamra or upset her in any way. However, this was a big deal for me and I wasn’t going to lose the opportunity. I assumed that honesty is the best policy and I called Tamra. She was cool, until she saw the segment. Then she got very upset and I honestly didn’t know how to react. I thought I had handled it appropriately.”
She also denies ever telling Tamra to “pick a side” between her and new cast member Shannon Beador, whom Heather has not got along with since the beginning of the season.
“I have never been one to choose sides, or suggest anyone else do so,” she wrote. “When I thought about it later, I think she is referring to a comment I made to Tamra that when she and I are alone we are friends and it’s good — as soon as we are around the other ladies, particularly Shannon, I didn’t think Tamra was very nice to me. What I was saying is pick a lane. Be my friend at all times, or not at all. Certainly not to choose between me and Shannon. It was very uncomfortable.”
Let’s hope Heather and Tamra can salvage their friendship. Here’s a sneak peek at their attempt to do just that in next week’s episode:
