Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds is determined to keep her distance from costar Vicki Gunvalson, whom she clashed with over Brooks Ayers’ controversial cancer diagnosis.

After defending her ex-boyfriend throughout season 10, Gunvalson finally admitted in Sunday’s reunion show that she doesn’t think Ayers has cancer and that she fabricated a story earlier in season 10 about calling Heather Dubrow‘s doctor husband to treat him. Gunvalson also said she’s going to work on restoring the trust and love she knows she has lost. For Edmonds, however, the damage has already been done.
“I don’t consider Vicki a friend. I’ve never filmed with just her,” Edmonds told People. “I think she is a filthy liar who plays the victim, and I refuse to ever willingly associate myself with that.”
“I care too much about my reputation than to tarnish it by pretending to be friends with a reality television actress,” Edmonds added. “I bring real stories to the Housewives and I won’t sink to the level of associating with fakeness. I have never been friends with Vicki and after last season I can promise I will never be friends with her. Why would I film with someone who I am not friends with and have absolutely no intention of becoming friends with.”

Meanwhile, Edmonds is not the only RHOC cast member who does not want to be associated with Gunvalson.
“I have no interest in filming with her,” Heather Dubrow said on her PodcastOne show, Heather Dubrow‘s World.
“I think when someone comes into a reality show fabricating their reality it damages my authenticity and my credibility,” said Shannon Beador. “I think it damages basally the whole concept of reality television. So I have a huge problem returning and filming with someone who is not truthful.”
Tamra Barney, who has known Gunvalson the longest, is also not speaking with the 53-year-old reality star right now.
