The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 5 will end this Sunday on Bravo. Here’s some of the gossip you may need to know before watching the season finale.
Teresa and Joe Face the Music
After the finale airs on Sunday, Joe and Teresa Giudice will sit down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live for the first time since their indictment. According to Bravo, the couple will touch on “the legal proceedings, their children and the possibility that Joe Giudice, an Italian national, could face deportation.”
This is definitely a must-see for any RHONJ fan. The season 5 reunion will then air in two parts: part one on October 6, and part two on October 13.

Book On Display
Melissa Gorga’s new marriage advice book, Love Italian Style, is drawing criticism for “advocating marital rape.” Here is a quote from the book, in a part that was penned by Melissa’s husband, Joe Gorga:
“Men, I know you think your woman isn’t the type who wants to be taken. But trust me, she is. Every girl wants to get her hair pulled once in a while. If your wife says ‘no,’ turn her around, and rip her clothes off. She wants to be dominated. Women don’t realize how easy men are. Just give us what we want.”
There are more passages in the book suggesting that what Melissa thinks is an “old-school” and “traditional” marriage may actually be an abusive relationship. Check out the whole article at Jezebel and judge for yourself.
Sign Away
RadarOnline has obtained an unsigned copy of a contract from the current season of RHONJ. The contract for unpaid participants is very strict and — it may come as little surprise to people — has very unusual stipulations.
“The rights granted herein shall also include the right to edit, delete, dub and fictionalize the footage and materials, the program and the advertisements as producer sees fit in producer’s sole discretion,” the opening clause reads.
Other terms state that participants must agree to the possibility of exposure to “public ridicule, humiliation or condemnation” or being shown in a false light. There is also a strict term that the participant may not speak about anything that has happened during filming.
Sounds like a steep price to pay for 15 minutes of fame.
