The Real Housewives of New York City is just half way through its eighth season but there are already rumors of a cast shake-up. Word on the street is that two housewives may be getting the axe for season nine.

Jules Wainstein, who made her debut this season, is reportedly getting the cut. According to Us Weekly‘s source, Bravo execs think that Jules isn’t quite “resonating with viewers,” so they reportedly aren’t interested in asking her back.
Despite the report, a Bravo spokesperson stated, “The network hasn’t made any casting decisions.”
Aside from Jules, another housewife that could be on her way out, according to Radar Online, is Bethenny Frankel. “Producers aren’t happy with her,” an insider told Radar. “They believe she is self-producing the show and they are fed up!”
“She has led all the cast members to believe she has serious control of the show given her celeb status,” the insider added. “She’s using her pseudo-clout so much that she has refused to film with certain people.”
“Certain people” may include co-star Sonja Morgan, whom Bethenny has a strained relationship with over their rival liquor line.
“They’ve had issues on the show,” said the insider, “but as part of Real Housewives storylines the women need to try to talk or come to resolutions, which Bethenny refuses do. She’s putting the everything in jeopardy.”
