Jughead’s dad may be behind bars for now, but that only means F.P. is staying put. Riverdale has promoted Skeet Ulrich to a series regular for the CW drama’s second season.
Ulrich appeared in more than half of the first season’s episodes as the leader of the Southside Serpents who has a complicated relationship with his estranged son Jughead and former best friend Fred Andrews. By the end of season 1, he was locked up for his role in covering up the murder of Jason Blossom.

This marks Ulrich’s first series regular role on television in seven years, since Law and Order: LA. However, TV fans probably remember him best as the lead in the CBS drama Jericho.
Riverdale returns for season 2 Wednesdays at 8/7c on the CW this Fall.
