While casting the right personalities for a show like Rock of Love2 might be challenging, tracking down the general population that fits well on the show must be easy. You can find the girls behind the bar, on the stripper pole, or on the fringes of the entertainment industry. Or, as in the case of Kristy Joe or Megan, you might find them through Playboy, as a Cyber Girl on in the pages of the magazine.
With even stars like Vanessa Hudgens having nude photos of herself circulating (albeit in her case unintentionally), you would think at this point appearing in an institution like Playboy would have lost some of its ability to cause a scandal. But it appears that’s not quite the case, and in 2006, Kristy Joe had to address the concerns about her nude modeling with family and friends.
In a MySpace posting from that time, Kristy Joe had this to say, “Alot of People, i.e. Friends, Family see- Playboy as Porn! So, let Me just say this about that— It is not Porn, if the Human body being photographed is porn, then we are all do Porn, Yep, every time we take a shower!” (Actually, I happen to not be photographed every time I take a shower, but maybe my shower is broken.)
The Rock of Love 2 gal continued, “I feel Playboy is a very Classy Magazine, I would never do something that would go against My morals! Yes, believe it or not I have morals, Shocker! I am only young once and while I have one ass, instead of two… I am going to model the way I see fit. And if You have a problem with it or dislike what I do, then don’t associate with Me, it’s really that simple… I am not trying to come across as rude—- I am just very tired of People that feel the need to Judge. ”
Since then, she appears to continue to be at peace with her work with Playboy, and she recently updated her Rock of Love 2 fans about some additional work she is doing with Hef’s empire. “I will be back to work with Playboy doing interviews @ the end of Jan. Come Feb 2nd I will be @ the Playboy Red Carpet party for the Super bowl (YEAH so excited), and Feb 15th I will be doing a show for Playboy radio in the am.” So Kristy Joe fans can take heart that if Bret Michaels sends her home anytime soon, they will still have the opportunity to keep up with her elsewhere.
