Scott Porter has previously starred in off-Broadway productions such as Altar Boyz and Toxic Audio. Aside from this, he has also appeared in countess television shows and movies like All My Children, The Bedford Diaries, As the World Turns and Descent. Currently, he is part of the television show Friday Night Lights where he plays Jason Street.
Jason Street is the former star quarterback of Dillon High and boyfriend of Lyla Garrity. Initially, he struggles with immense pressure as he feels weight of the world is on his shoulders. During the first game of the season, he suffers a severe spinal injury which makes him crippled and he is replaced by Matt Saracen, the former backup. At present, he deals with rehab and life after football.
