As we hop aboard the So You Think You Can Dance train once again, we are in the home stretch, people! We have reached the top 10, and what a fabulous and talented group it is. Do you know what else is almost as fabulous (besides Cat Deeley’s latest fashion statement)? Tonight, the All-Stars hit the stage!
It is sad that we will bid farewell to two more dancers. Last week, Malece Miller and Alan Bersten were sent home.

We begin with a group routine, which features rocking chairs. It is both lovely and haunting.
Our resident judges, Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, are joined by choreographer and actress Debbie Allen. Cat Deeley is in (gasp!) a fairly simple and understated dress.
Here we go with the results: Tucker will automatically be in danger because he did not dance last week due to his injury.

It is fun, fast and energetic. Mary Murphy gives Amy high praise, and Nigel Lythgoe calls Amy “vivacious.” He points out that Amy’s energy never dipped.
It’s mentioned that the So You Think You Can Dance tour kicks off this fall.
Aaron Turner with All-Star Kathryn
Contemporary choreographed by Stacey Tookey
This routine is about the one person in your life who is always there to support you. It is emotional, beautiful and earns a standing ovation from the judges. Nigel loves Aaron and Kathryn’s chemistry. Mary comments on the beauty of the routine.
DuShaunt “Fik-Shun” Stegall with All-Star Melanie
Jazz choreographed by Mandy Moore
It is an entertaining and steamy routine about when an ex-lover comes back to town. Fik-Shun and Melanie receive a standing ovation from all the judges. Nigel tells Fik-Shun how proud he is of him and his growth. And Debbie tells him that he has “real” talent, even though he is called Fik-Shun.
Paul Karmiryan with All-Star Witney
Cha-Cha choreographed by Jean-Marc Genereux
This number, and their chemistry, is sizzling! Paul and Witney receive yet another standing ovation. Mary Murphy compliments Paul’s clean footwork and great technique, and puts him on the hot tamale train. It’s also Paul’s birthday, and what a way to celebrate!
Hayley Erbert with All-Star tWitch
Hip-Hop choreographed by Christopher Scott
This routine is set in a bank and is fun and creative. Debbie feels that the routine transcends hip-hop, but that Hayley is a bit overshadowed by her partner. Nigel tells Hayley that she is a dancing chameleon who can adapt to what choreographers want.
Jenna Johnson with All-Star Neil
Contemporary choreographed by Mandy Moore
This contemporary piece is about the disintegration of a relationship. I feel that there is a lack of connection between this couple. Of course, I may be in the minority as they, too, receive a standing ovation. Nigel praises the fluidity of the dance, and tells Jenna that she is one of the best all-around dancers that he has seen emerge from the ballroom world.
Jasmine Harper with All-Star Marko
Jazz choreographed by Ray Leeper
This number is fun, and has Jasmine and Marko dressed alike in suits. For much of the routine, this duo dances side by side. Guess what? There is another standing ovation! Mary Murphy says that her eyes are always drawn to Jasmine, and Debbie echoes her sentiment.
Makenzie Dustman with All-Star Jakob
Broadway choreographed by Spencer Liff
This number is set in a club on a hot summer night. It has a sexy throwback vibe. Debbie loves it, and Makenzie receives raves. Nigel wonders again why Makenzie is in the danger zone even though she is one of the best dancers they have had on So You Think You Can Dance.
Nico Greetham with All-Star Comfort
Hip-Hop choreographed by NappyTabs
This dance is about reptiles. (Yes, really!) I think that Nico is low on swag and this duo’s connection seems a bit off. Nigel thinks that Nico is in character tonight. Mary thinks that Nico dances well in this routine.
Tucker Knox with All-Star Robert
Contemporary choreographed by Travis Wall
Both of these dancers survived near-fatal accidents, and channel their emotions into this routine about second chances. It is beautiful and simply stunning. This emotional number receives a standing ovation and moves Mary to tears. Nigel is also moved.
