With less than a month left for the premiere of an all-new season of So You Think You Can Dance, the excitement is running high. In line with the series’ return in May, FOX has launched several previews of what’s to expect for the fifth installment of the show. The bar has been raised and the dancers are ready to take on the challenge, especially now that the judges are expecting even more from every contestant.
What we’re about to see is yet another unbelievable clip from the talents that will soon be appearing on So You Think You Can Dance. These aspirants are more than ready to steal the spotlight and see the audience in awe as they display their skills on the dance floor.
Below, you can watch the video clips for this year’s explosive return of So You Think You Can Dance. It continues to bring great opportunities to many, as well as a different kind of energy to those who can’t wait but witness every bit of the series.
The second video features Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman. Series creator Lythgoe admits that he wants to be wowed by a group who has had “no formal training” in dance, but has the ability to capture the audience’s interest and perform magnificently. It’s the excitement brought about by their growth that he hopes to see in season 5. One of the reasons why So You Think You Can Dance is a success is just that – it follows the back stories of each contestant and connects with them on a more personal level.
Mary Murphy and host Cat Deeley appear on the final clip, which shows the audition process and how much anticipation has been built up, especially in looking for America’s Favorite Dancer. We also get a sneak peek of the individuals who have given it all to develop their own dance styles, despite the variety of moves they’re expected to work on. So You Think You Can Dance is brimming with personality, and it’s something that makes you look forward to it.
