As we come up on the Las Vegas callbacks episode of So You Think You Can Dance season 9, it’s time for speculation. Which favorites will be cut? Who will make the Top 20? Thanks to Twitter, we may have some answers.

DISCLAIMER: Absolutely none of these So You Think You Can Dance season 9 spoilers have been confirmed. They could be totally wrong. That isn’t my fault. So please don’t get angry, OK? Cool.

So You Think You Can Dance season 9 has not yet made any announcements as to this year’s Top 20 going on to the main competition. 181 dancers in total qualified for Las Vegas. Thus, the vast majority of those we saw in their auditions will be cut.

But a few will make it. And we might have their names, thanks to a search of Twitter.

Giving credit where credit is due, I need to thank buddyhenrik for the initial tip used to find these names. It’s amazing what treasures a random search of Twitter can unearth.

The following names all have very particular Twitter accounts. The accounts have all been opened only recently. None of the Twitter accounts have sent a Tweet. And every account begins with the telling @Dance9 prefix.

I was able to find 20 Twitter accounts of this type. Are they actually the So You Think You Can Dance season 9 Top 20? Maybe. Only maybe.

Reasons I Might Be Wrong

  • I managed to find 21 names. At least one person is incorrect.
  • There are more girls than guys on this list. SYTYCD usually likes it to be even. Thus, two guys might take the place of two of these girls.
  • It is possible that this is merely the list of those dancers who made it through the Vegas callbacks to the Green Mile. In that case, several names are missing.
  • I found (purely by accident) five names of dancers we never met during the auditions. There could easily be more of these names.

But If I’m Right…

If this list is (at least mostly) correct, the following names could very well be the So You Think You Can Dance Top 20 dancers. Click on the names to check out their Twitter accounts.
