One of the heretics is about to get involved with the Winchesters. Elizabeth Blackmore, who plays Stefan’s heretic girlfriend Valerie on the seventh season of The Vampire Diaries, is heading to the CW’s Supernatural for a recurring role that will span multiple seasons.
Blackmore will make her first appearance at the end of Supernatural season 11 as Lady Toni Bevell, a character who is expected to return for season 12 as well. The character is mysterious, though she comes from Great Britain and has something in common with Sam and Dean.
Who could she be playing? Another powerful witch? God’s second cousin twice-removed? Bobby Singer’s long-lost daughter? Probably not, but I here are two other theories based on the limited information we have.
Bela’s Sister: OK, this is a long shot, but the criminal Bela Talbot from season 3 is one of the few major character from England, so perhaps she had a sister who comes looking for answers about her sister who died about 10 years ago.
Crowley’s Daughter-in-Law: One of the show’s biggest loose ends in recent years has to be Crowley’s son, Gavin MacLeod. He originally died in the 1700s, but Abaddon use time travel to bring him to the present in season 9. Rather than take him back in time to let him die, restoring the original timeline, Crowley set his son free in the present day.
We never found out what ramifications this slight alteration to the timeline may have had, nor do we know what Gavin has been up to in the modern world. Perhaps he met a nice lady named Toni and got married. If they have a child, Crowley could definitely get involved with his own heir.
Whatever role Lady Toni Bevell plays, the fact that she’ll be appearing in both seasons 11 and 12 suggests that she’ll be a major player in whatever new storyline comes after dealing with the Darkness. Who do you think she is?
Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9pm on the CW.
