It’s been a few episodes since the Winchester brothers had to face the Darkness and deal with Amara and that changes in Supernatural Season 11 Episode 9, “O Brother Where Art Thou?” Sam and Dean turn to those around them for help in stopping the Darkness and Sam further explores his visions.
BuddyTV joined a group of reporters who talked to Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki on set in Vancouver about what’s coming up in the the mid-season finale and beyond.

“Episodes 9 and 10 are my favorite episodes in a long, long time. I love the twists and turns,” said Padalecki. “The brothers are very committed to get rid of the Darkness. We go a place we probably would not have expected.”
It all starts with Sam’s mysterious visions. “Sam starts exploring his visions,” said Ackles. “He kind of takes it upon himself to go there without Dean and leaves me in the dust. Then of course, Dean has to follow. What that does is it makes for some interesting alliances.”
Padalecki and Ackles tease the mid-season finale and January’s return in more detail in the below video interview. Plus, get a bonus mime performance of the episode as they try to not give too much away.
