The season 7 premiere of Supernatural is a little over one month away (Friday, September 23 at 9pm), and now fans can get their first look at footage from the new season.
The trailer for Supernatural season 7 has plenty of religious undertones, with churches and lots of Castiel as the new God. He’s definitely gone a little crazy and, as the trailer suggests, I definitely fear Cas now. Check it out.
Here’s what I got from it:
“If You Rise Up, I Will Strike You Down”: That’s one bad-ass quote, and it sets a great tone for Castiel’s new role as God. It’s also scary to hear “The Castiel you knew is gone.”
Death and Crowley: I can’t wait to see how these two great characters react to the new Cas. Personally, I’m hoping for Crowley to use phrases like “Cas damn it” or “Oh my Cas.”
Cas in the Church: Yikes, this scene looks insanely terrifying as Castiel seems to be taking down the pastor.
A Storm at Bobby’s: There appears to be a full-fledged hurricane going on inside Bobby’s house. Things are not looking good for the boys.
Cas Gets Bloody: The dazed and confused footage of Cas covered in blood look like he just did some very, very bad things. Supernatural is obviously not holding back on making Cas a full-time baddie.
