The SPN Family has grown even bigger this week with the arrival of Supernatural star Jensen Ackles‘ twins. He and his wife, Danneel, announced over the summer that they were expecting a new pair of babies, and Jensen went on Instagram to reveal the big news.
The twins, a boy and a girl, were born early Friday, December 2. Jensen revealed the somewhat unusual names for the twins: Zeppelin Bram and Arrow Rhodes. Zep and Arrow join their big sister, 3-year-old Justice, aka JJ, in the Ackles family.

It’s easy to see some potential inspiration in the names from Jensen’s job at the CW. Zeppelin could be due to Dean’s love of classic rock while Arrow is, of course, the name of another CW series starring Stephen Amell. Interestingly, Amell has appeared in the WWE several times in a feud with Stardust, aka Cody Rhodes.
Not to be outdone, Jensen’s Supernatural co-star Jared Padalecki and his wife are expecting their third child in March. They currently have two sons, Tom and Shepherd.
Whatever the inspiration, congratulations to the Ackles family: Jensen, Danneel, Justice, Zeppelin and Arrow. That’s certainly a household filled with cool and unique names.
