Teen Wolf is saving the best villain for last. And by best, I mean fans should buckle down for a climactic battle against Beacon Hills’ most terrifying baddie to date.
Graduation has come and gone for Scott McCall’s (Tyler Posey) supernatural pals, and the True Alpha is going through a few growing pains. Lydia’s headed for MIT, Stiles is prepping for a career with the FBI, and Scott … well, Scott might not be able to leave Beacon Hills behind. Writer Will Wallace previewed the upcoming season 6B villain, and it seems the teen’s hometown is in for another bout of disaster.

“[There will be] multiple villains like every season, but the final season will have our toughest villain yet,” Wallace teased on Twitter, adding that the werewolf’s upcoming foe will be Teen Wolf‘s “best and scariest.”
Good news for viewers, bad news for a scattered pack. In an adventure to bookend season 1’s, Scott and Co. will be on their heels once more. After bolstering their numbers with allies both young and old during their high school escapades, the supernatural squad will find themselves out in the cold as the final 10 episodes unspool.

“6B is very much about Scott and his friends becoming outsiders again, becoming pariahs, and about fear of the other, fear of the outsider, which is also a reflection of our current cultural-political climate,” showrunner Jeff Davis told Entertainment Weekly. “One of Scott’s greatest fears is that he will never be able to leave Beacon Hills as sort of a protector of the supernatural and can he go off and have a life of his own? So we’re going to explore some of that.”
