Rumor has it that Teresa Giudice and her family will be filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7 before she starts her prison sentence next year but that’s not going to happen. According to E! News, Teresa will not be stepping in front of the RHONJ cameras.

Teresa, who has been a cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey since the conception of the series in 2009, is facing federal fraud charges and is expected to surrender by Monday, January 5, 2015 for her 15-moth prison sentence.
While Teresa previously hinted that the season 6 reunion show could be her last, her fate on the series, as well as the future of the show itself, has not been decided yet. However, Radaronline.com reports that production for the new season has been delayed indefinitely.

“Bravo is very nervous to do the show without Teresa,” a show insider tells Radar. “They fear that without her, the show will not be as big of a success.”
“They’re exploring shelving the season until 2016, when Teresa gets out of prison,” the source added. “By having her fresh out of prison, there would be a clear storyline. It would also pull on fans’ heartstrings to see the changed Teresa back in the limelight.”
