The latest shocker on The Bachelor might as well be the most predictable news on ABC’s reality dating franchise. According OK! magazine, last season’s love searcher Jake Pavelka and fiance Vienna Girardi have called it quits– officially putting an end to their short-lived engagement.

“Jake and Vienna have split and appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time,” Pavelka’s rep confirmed in a statement.
Pavleka, who recently appeared on Dancing with the Stars, has been bombarded with controversy ever since he chose and proposed to Girardi, who was considered The Bachelor villainess among her co-stars. Many believed the couple wouldn’t last considering the surge of rumors attached to Girardi’s colorful past and love life.
