We are three episodes in on The Bachelor season 19 and so far Chris Soules hasn’t gotten any flak except for one thing: He’s been kissing girls left and right (in front of other girls)– which is probably not a good idea based on past seasons of the ABC reality dating franchise. While the farmer from Iowa has a pretty good reason behind his controversial actions, many personalities from Bachelor Nation have a different take on the “Kissing Bandit.”

Chris Soules reveals his reason for kissing numerous women: “Being called out by Mackenzie for kissing multiple women was definitely not a high point. I know I’ve maybe kissed more girls at this point than the average Bachelor, but I was taking things seriously, and isn’t kissing a huge part of any romantic relationship? I’m very grateful for Amber, who stood up for me when the girls were talking it over. Amber, you’re right. I’m just trying to find my wife.”
Chris Soules further explains to E! News: “This is such a magnified and short period of time to meet your wife. And I went into this wanting to meet my wife. I took that really seriously. And part of being in a relationship with someone is kissing, you know, for me any way. And for me to truly find out if we have that chemistry or things are there, I wanted to live in every moment, and take each individual relationship really seriously. And wear my heart on my sleeve and not hold back. And part of that is kissing and being in the moment. I don’t regret that.”
Chris Harrison dubs Chris Soules as the Kissing Bandit: “The night portion of this date was interesting because the kissing bandit was back. Chris has been very open with his affection for all the women; there has been a lot of kissing this season and especially on this date. The interesting thing is the girl who wouldn’t kiss him, Becca, really grabbed his attention and got the rose. Hmmm, is there a lesson in here somewhere? The rest of the party was pretty much a feeding frenzy on Chris’s face as girl after girl went in for the kiss. I think he may have actually wanted to talk to Britt this time but couldn’t get a word out. The women are being really aggressive this season, going after what they want and assuming this is the way to get Chris’s attention and a rose. I have to say it appears in most cases to be working. Chris certainly doesn’t seem to mind.”
Tenley Molzahn reacts to Mackenzie: “Kissing totes matters, but… I’d lose track! So proud of Mackenzie for saying something… Umm. When you kiss that many girls back to back, how do you keep track of that chemistry?”
Sean Lowe gives Chris Soules advice: “Chris, if I can just give you one piece of advice… don’t make out with chicks in front of other chicks. #hopehelistens Good luck with that whole kissing philosophy Chris. ‘It’s not that I don’t want to kiss you. It’s just that I don’t want to swallow the last girl’s saliva.'”
Ashlee Frazier’s reaction to the amount of kissing this season: “Forget a $ for the word amazing. Give a $ every time Chris kisses someone.”
