Clint Arlis and JJ Lane’s bromance took center stage on this week’s Bachelorette, leaving viewers puzzled as to what’s really going on between Kaitlyn Bristowe’s two suitors. Clint, who got the first one-on-one date of the season, practically ignored Kaitlyn this week. He then admitted that he was more close with JJ than with Kaitlyn and actually talked about showering with him. “The possibility to coming on The Bachelorette and falling in love with a man never crossed my mind and at this point, I’m a success story,” he told the camera. “I love JJ. He has made my time in the house completely enjoyable.” So what does Bachelor Nation think of all this? Find out below:
The Bachelorette Recap: Sex Ed, Sumo Wrestling and a Bromance>>>
Kaitlyn Bristowe: “I just wish Clint could have treated me like he treated JJ. Speaking of Clint, that night at the cocktail party, his name kept coming up. I appreciated the guys’ honesty. You could tell they didn’t want to be throwing anyone under the bus and that they were genuinely just looking out for me. I was so confused because I had seen this sweet, nice side of Clint that I was really attracted to. But when I heard stories and heard how the guys felt, it pissed me off. I had to do something about it.”
Chris Harrison: “These two seemed to have sparked quite a strong relationship… These two were inseparable, doing literally everything together from showers to eating to soaking in the hot tub. My only issue with it is that in an effort to stay on the show with JJ, Clint began to mess with Kaitlyn. He started to mislead her so he could get a rose and stay around. Kaitlyn quickly caught wind of this and confronted Clint — you’ll see how that confrontation plays out next week, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. There’s so much more to this story that you’ll see play out next Monday night, you won’t believe it. There are a lot of layers to this relationship — and I’m not even sure which relationship I’m talking about at this point. Just know that next week there is a meltdown and a betrayal like we’ve rarely seen on this show.”
ABC Eyes Amy Schumer as Next Bachelorette>>>
Sharleen Joynt: “It’s clearly a ridiculous case of creative editing and, with all the drama that naturally seems to be occurring this season, I question the need for it. But am I the only one who would have been thrilled for two men to actually find love–with each other–while on the Bachelorette? Based on the amount of time they spend together in the house I feel like they could have a better chance of making it than the final couple. Just sayin’.”
Jillian Harris: “I am all for love in ALL sexes, shapes, and sizes … I am pro same sex love and marriage … it’s just …. well this was a tad out of place here and certainly unexpected. I can’t help but think … will there be a bachelor bachelor wedding?!?!!? Will there be a whole new franchise for same sex couples? I mean the possibilities are endless. And if this is true love for JJ and CLINT, then I am happy for them … I just feel really bad for Kaitlyn because they are are TWO people that took the place of two other potential soul mates for her.”
Do you think Clint is really in love with JJ? According to TMZ, both guys are straight as arrows. A source reveals that they “just think it’s funny” and they enjoy getting lots of attention on social media.
