It’s almost time for the much awaited hometown dates on The Bachelorette which means it’s also time for Andi Dorfman to get to know her four remaining bachelors better. But will she learn about their dark secrets as well? In this week’s Bachelorette roundup, dark pasts are revealed while a possible romance outside the show may signal the fate of one bachelor.
Chris Soules and Marcus Grodd’s Dark Secrets
According to Radaronline, Chris Soules has had a couple of run-ins with the law, including one for drunk driving that landed him in jail. The farmer from Iowa reportedly has additional 13 guilty pleas for several charges stemming from alcohol-related behavior. Marcus Grodd, on the other hand, has been arrested once in 2010 for drug possession in Texas. A source tells Star, “I doubt Andi knows about this episode in Marcus’ life. He told Andi she makes him feel like he can ‘be myself and open up’ with her — just not all the way, apparently.” It remains to be seen if Andi will finally learn about their past during the hometown dates.
A Possible Romance and Spoiler
A former Bachelor contestant might have spilled the fate of one of Andi Dorfman’s final four men on The Bachelorette season 10. Spoiler Alert! Kat Hurd, who competed for Juan Pablo Galavis on the ABC reality dating series, shared a photo of her and Nick Viall on what seemed to be a double date. She immediately deleted the photo on Instagram, fueling speculation that she and Nick are probably dating and that he doesn’t win Andi’s heart in the end.
Hometown Dates
On Monday’s The Bachelorette, Andi will be making her hometown visits, kicking off with Nick in Milwaukee where he hopes to get the approval of his parents and 10 siblings before he professes her love for Andi. She then travels to Iowa to meet Chris’ family, explore his farm and ponder if she can really swap city life for country life. In Tampa, Andi learns about Josh’s frustration over his unfulfilled dreams and his younger brother who now has been drafted into the NFL. Her last stop is in Dallas, where Marcus has a surprise for Andi upon her arrival. Before the episode ends, however, things take an emotional turn as Andi and her men learn about the tragic death of Eric Hill.
