The CW has released the premiere dates for its new and returning shows this fall, and as usual, the network will launch its lineup in October, avoiding the September launch of the other major networks.
The new season kicks off with The Vampire Diaries and Reign on Thursday, October 2. The following week will see the premieres of The Originals, The Flash, Supernatural and Arrow. The new show Jane the Virgin joins the lineup Monday, October 13 while the second season of The 100 starts on Wednesday, October 22.
The premiere season for the CW will also feature a lot of promotion for The Flash and even an extra boost for Supernatural. On Wednesday, October 1, the CW will re-air the two episodes of Arrow that introduced The Flash star Grant Gustin, and repeats of The Flash will air Wednesdays at 9pm for the next two weeks.
In addition, on Monday, October 6 at 9pm, the CW will air a special look back at Supernatural as the show heads into its 10th season, setting up for the premiere the following day.
