With the recent breakup of Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner, fans of The Girls Next Door have been wondering how it will affect the show and if Holly will continue to be a part of the reality show. Hef has already moved on, picking up girlfriends Kristina and Karissa Shannon, identical twins with a rebellious streak. Fans remain overwhelmingly in support of Holly with 97% of BuddyTV readers claiming she is better looking than the Shannon girls and 60% of the readers feeling that Hef is a better catch for Holly than her latest rumored fling, Criss Angel. No need to stick up for Holly, though. She seems to be handling the breakup just fine and in a recent interview, said she wishes Hef nothing but the best.
Hollyscoop, a celebrity gossip site, caught up with Holly herself at a charity event for breast cancer, where The Girls Next Door star helped raise over $50,000. Since Holly is now single, the first obvious question to ask would be what kind of guy she’s looking for. “I like dark hair, I just like guys who are fun and nice,” she said. “I like all the good stuff, guys who are hot, fun, nice and smart.”
Perhaps the breakup has given Holly some clarity on what she wants out of life because losing Hef has caused her to drop the baby talk. “Someday in the future I want to have kids, but I am way too busy right now I have a lot of things to do next year and none of them involve being a fat pregnant lady,” she admitted.
Holly had nothing but great things to say about Hef and the Shannon twins, wishing them nothing but the best and saying that she just wants Hef to be happy and have fun. Fans of Holly Madison will be thrilled to hear that she will continue with The Girls Next Door. “We haven’t started shooting [season 6] yet but I think it’s just going to follow me and Bridget and Kendra wherever we go whatever we do,” she said. “We’ll always be close to Hef. We’ll always be part of his life, it will just keep following us on our adventures.”
Because Holly is no longer a girlfriend, she’ll have to move out of the Playboy mansion but she has yet to leave. “I don’t have time to pack,” she revealed. “Nobody can pack for me. Nobody knows what I need to keep what goes into storage, I have to do it myself so, I am hanging out tonight, I am having fun tonight.” Though she may be leaving the mansion, don’t expect Ms. Madison to go too far!
