The Originals Interview: Danielle Campbell Teases Davina in Her Role as Regent

Here are a few highlights:
- At first, he was only supposed to be in two episodes, and then it was expanded.
- “This season, with Vincent, I think, as we saw at the end of the last season, he’s sworn off magic and he’s trying to be somewhat of a mentor to Davina, who’s risen up in the ranks and is now the regent, but whether or not his voice is going to be heard by Davina at this point remains to be seen.”
- There are “other interesting challenges” that will be presented to Vincent during the season.
- Vincent is “definitely a powerful witch.”
- You will see some of his knowledge this season, but whether or not he’ll practice that magic remains to be seen.
- “No actor wants to work with children or animals because they’re always going to trump you in the scene.”
The Originals season 3 premieres Thursday, October 8 at 9pm on the CW.
