Word on the street is that Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes, two of the most controversial cast members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, have been fired on the Bravo docu drama. According to the New York Daily News, producers are already looking to replace the feuding stars for season 3.
In spite of their crazy antics and diva drama, it’s hard to imagine The Real Housewives of Atlanta without Kim and NeNe. After all, these two pretty much dominate the entire show. However, that doesn’t seem to give producers enough reason to keep the two frienemies.
Kim and NeNe are allegedly asking for bigger paychecks from Bravo and now producers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta are sick and tired of their demands that
they’re “taking meetings with some notable and wealthy Atlanta women” about joining the show in Kim and NeNe’s place. “They’re trying their best to keep the process under wraps, but they’re gearing up to make a major move in the third season.”
“Things with NeNe and Kim have been intense,” a source told the The New York Daily News, “but Bravo feels the show is about the franchise as a whole and won’t let one person stop it.”
Bravo has yet to comment on the issue but a source told People that “no decisions on a season 3 have been made yet.”
The source also said that the newest cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will either join the show as the sixth housewife, or serve as a replacement for NeNe or Kim.
