The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s season 10 is about to premiere, and there will be a new housewife in the mix to shake things up, Meghan King Edmonds. Meghan will join RHOC vets Shannon Beador, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow. From the looks of the teaser trailer, don’t expect this gorgeous, blonde, leggy thirty year old to be a shrinking violet. Here’s everything we know about the RHOC’s latest, and possibly greatest, addition. Hold on to your jobs girls, here comes Meghan.
1. She’s Actually a Housewife
Meghan is ex-major league baseball player and FOX sports broadcaster, Jim Edmonds,’ third wife. Edmonds must have pulled out all the stops to land the woman of his dreams because, according to Meghan, she broke two rules by tying the knot with the retired athlete. She swore she wouldn’t marry a man more than 11 years her senior-he’s 44-and she’d never wed a professional athlete.

2. Meghan Butts Head with Multiple Cast Members
We know Vicki Gunvalson doesn’t take kindly to change, especially if that change is a new, beautiful, younger and outspoken cast member. It seems one point of contention between the two ladies is Vicki’s boyfriend, Brooks, who may or may not have cancer. We do witness Vicki and Meghan going head-to-head and Meghan tells Vicki “You’re just an old woman who’s pissed off and bitter.” Meghan also seems to rub Shannon Beador the wrong way by not inviting her to some sort of get together. Oh, no she didn’t.

3. She’s Struggling with Her Role as a Stepmom
Jim has four kids from his previous marriage, and Meghan is only 13 years older than Jim’s 17-year-old daughter, Hailey. In addition to trying to find her place among the other women, not always the most welcoming group, Meghan has to adjust to being a parent to an instant family. With Jim often out of town on business, she’s navigating the murky waters of parenthood all on her own.

4. Meghan Could Be Tamra’s New Bestie
In a clip, Tamra describes Meghan as 15 inches taller but still her mini-me. But we all know alliances shift within the course of an episode. Will Tamra stay true to Vicki or trade her old friend in for an upgraded model? Tamra hasn’t proved to be loyal in the past, so we’ll have to wait and see.
5. Meghan May Have an Ally Up Her Sleeve
In pictures from episode 2 (see above), Meghan can be seen schmoozing with former RHOC housewife, Jeana Keough. Keough’s family is a baseball legacy which leaves us to wonder if Jeana was Meghan’s way into the group, and will the former housewife prove a valuable asset to Meghan in her dealings with the other ladies?
